Georgia Hill

Georgia Hill is a multidisciplinary artist, specializing in lettering-based monochromatic works. Born in Australia, Hill graduated from The University of Technology, Sydney, with First Class Honours in Visual Communications, before embarking on her artistic career. Straddling both the street art and contemporary art worlds, Hill's strengths as a self-taught artist have enabled her to travel extensively to create site-specific large-scale installations, murals, and exhibitions across Canada, New Zealand, Iceland, Jordan, India, The United States, Japan, and Indonesia, as well as working prolifically across Australia’s states. Using a range of mediums, her instantly recognizable aesthetic can be read in terms of connection, identity, and place. Hill’s constant pursuit of unique structures, new environments, and emotive language is demonstrated further in her poetic phrasing, highlighting an ongoing dialogue of memories, reflections, and experiences.
