Soundtracks for the Present Future Performance by Paul Barnes

Paul Barnes, pianist and Marguerite Scribante Professor of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music, will take compositions that span centuries, by composers Clara Schumann, Philip Glass, Lukas Floyd, Scarlatti, and JS Bach, among others, expanding them into the contemporary world through Charley Friedman’s installation, Soundtracks for the Present Future. A Q+A with Charley Friedman, Paul Barnes, and Luke Farritor, exhibition engineer, moderated by Rachel Adams, will follow.
