Opening Reception: Benefit Art Auction Exhibition

Join us to celebrate the opening of the 2026 Benefit Art Auction Exhibition! Experience 300+ works of art and toast the 200+ artists participating in this year's auction. This opening event includes complimentary drinks, light bites, and music spinning by Kethro.

Admission to the Opening Reception is free. RSVPs are encouraged.

Current Bemis Center members and 2026 participating auction artists may also join us for an exclusive exhibition preview directly preceding the public reception, from 6 to 7 PM.

About the Benefit Art Auction

The 2026 Benefit Art Auction takes place on Friday, October 30 from 5:30 to 9:15 PM. Bidding begins at 70% of retail price and all bids are made online. From Monday, October 5 to the start of the auction on October 30, all artwork is available for purchase at Buy it Now prices (150% of retail price).

Participating artists receive up to 50% commission on the sale of their work. All other proceeds from the Benefit Art Auction raise critical funds to ensure Bemis Center's exhibitions, artist residencies, LOW END performances, and public programs remain free and accessible to all, year-round.
