Kilamanzego is a quirky androgynous black woman who creates forward-thinking electronic music from a Philly bedroom. She combines melodic and bouncy future beats styles with touches of West African experimentalism. She released her premiere EP "These Roots Are On Fire" in April 2020 which was featured on Bandcamp's front page. With singles "Black Weirdo" and "Anxiety" following in the latter months and landing in Spotify's editorial "Creamy" and Monstercat playlists, Kilamanzego made her performance debut at Mad Decent / Brownies & Lemonade that year. Her newest song "Meditate" is prepped for a music video release in Spring 2021. You can catch Kilamanzego's beatmaking livestreams on Twitch under the same name.
