Desired Forms: Ceramics at Bemis and Beyond

In addition to Elisabeth Kley: Minutes of Sand, Bemis Center will host two additional solo exhibitions by ceramics-focused artists Jennifer Ling Datchuk and Raven Halfmoon in 2023 and 2024 respectively. Kley and Datchuk will discuss their artistic practices, Omaha's legacy of ceramics, and the Bemis Center's commitment to spotlighting the medium. Joining the discussion will be Omaha-based artist Jess Benjamin, Chief Curator and Director of Programs Rachel Adams, and Susan Cross, Senior Curator at Mass MOCA and curator of Ceramics in the Expanded Field.
